Fig & Brie Crostini with Honey-Thyme Drizzle

A golden, tender bite with heirloom ease and cozy sparkle

Some bites feel like a toast. Not the clinking kind—but the quiet kind. These fig & brie crostinis are built for candlelit moments: when the table is set with linen, the playlist hums low, and the air carries a hint of thyme.

They start with crisp baguette rounds brushed in butter and olive oil, then layered with creamy brie and fig preserves. A drizzle of warm thyme-infused honey adds depth and glow, while toasted nuts offer a little crunch and flair. They’re simple to make, stunning to serve, and disappear faster than you’d expect.

Whether you’re hosting a fall dinner, planning a mocktail night, or building a board for two, these crostinis are your invitation to gather with warmth, ease, and just a touch of sparkle.

Recipe: Fig & Brie Crostinis

Yield: 12 crostinis Prep Time: 15 minutes Bake Time: 8–10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette, sliced into ¼-inch rounds

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 6 oz Brie cheese, sliced into small squares

  • ½ cup fig preserves or jam

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 1 sprig fresh thyme (plus more for garnish)

  • Optional: chopped toasted walnuts or slivered almonds

Instructions

  1. Toast the Crostini Preheat oven to 375°F. Brush baguette slices with melted butter and olive oil. Bake until golden and crisp, about 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

  2. Infuse the Honey Warm honey with a sprig of thyme over low heat. Let it steep while you assemble.

  3. Assemble & Melt Top each crostini with a slice of Brie. Return to the oven for 2 minutes—just enough to soften. Add a dollop of fig preserves and drizzle with thyme honey.

  4. Garnish & Serve Sprinkle with nuts if you’re feeling fancy. Add a tiny thyme leaf for flair. Serve warm and watch them disappear.

Hosting Tip

Batch these ahead and warm them just before guests arrive. They’re the kind of bite that makes a table feel dressed.
